Hiring the right Event or Wedding DJ to rock the Dance Floor – Party Rock!
I’m Not sure where I was going with this post heading, ‘Party Rock!’
But in some cases I’m asked these very haunting questions by planners or newly engaged couples. So I’ll try to address most of your concerns.
1. What make you different?
2. Why should we use you as our DJ?
3. Can you get the crowd to party like a NYC Club!
My duct tape approach was after being in the business for so many years, I started posting my
live recorded mixes of certain events on the internet, I was hoping that hearing is believing, and once you like what you hear, I would have a clear shot to bypass all the questions and other obstacles, NOT!!!

Your questions are very fair but at the same time we can’t predict the future and make big promises, as we know things can change and things happen, ‘SOMETIME PEOPLE JUST DON’T DANCE’
In other words, my resume below describes my craft and my skills as a DJ, it is up to you to decide and to feel comfortable that I can fulfill what your visions are, it is your funds in the end.
I grew up the the Caribbean, I understand and only play Tasteful music.

My craft shines in building or filling the dance for the entire night, “yes I can read the crowd”
part of keeping the dance floor packed is to have total control, by engaging and interaction with my audience, I love getting to their level, breaking the ICE.
I understand grandparent needs as well as the children in attendance, I don’t play dirty versions of songs, you know the song that have strong language and abusive to our minds.
“I would also like to mention that 98.9% of my music library should be clean family friendly music according to my kids”
Being a DJ and running HBE Event Services, allow me to use music as an outlet for my personality (“Just having fun” “life is short”).
Keep in mind, DJs are the life of the party, our job is to bring the energy and motivate the audience.
that is why we are being paid.
But to really rock the an event, in a perfect world I would have to know my audiences, I would love to know who are invited and where are they coming from, age group, amount expected, location, timing, daytime Vs. nighttime event, favorites music, movies, party theme, your truth expectation and vision for the event, and then finally the most important request, if everyone happen to walk off the dance floor, list 40 go too songs that I must play.
Handyboys Events Services handle about 40 different events a year from very small to very large Production , this included School Graduation Parties, Proms Parties , Wedding Celebration, Corporate functions, Year End and Holidays Events.
